A couple from El Mirage, Arizona, faced a challenging situation with their solar energy system, which had been broken for nearly two years. Dave and Julie Jennings, who had acquired a solar lease when they purchased their home, were left with a costly monthly electric bill of $25 to $30, mostly consisting of fees. The couple noticed problems in April 2024 when their system stopped producing energy. Despite their repeated calls to customer service, the company kept delaying repairs, claiming it was the electrical panel that was burned and that it was their responsibility to fix it. However, there was an error code on the inverter. Exhausted from the lack of service, Julie reached out to Let ABC15 Know for help. After sending an email to SunStrong Management on behalf of the Jennings family, she received a response from the company's director of operations, who agreed to personally oversee the case. Within two weeks, a service technician was scheduled, parts were ordered and delivered, and the couple received an email saying, 'We have solar!'. SunStrong also gave them a 'good faith' payment of more than $1,500.
